The Buffalo Bills wrapped up minicamp this week and this was the final chance for players to make an impact before they regroup at training camp. This is a big opportunity as there are a number of players that are fighting for a bigger role in 2024 or even just to be on the roster.

Among some of the reports from people in attendance, these are the four players in particular who made the most of the practices this week during the Buffalo Bills minicamp.

Kaiir Elam

While the Buffalo Bills had Rasul Douglas in practice for the first time this season, Christian Benford was absent due to personal reasons. This gave Kaiir Elam a chance to play with the starters and all indications are that he looked really good.

Elam would have interceptions on the first two days of minicamp and what was more notable was that both interceptions came off Josh Allen. This is a pivotal season for Elam as he tries to break into the starting lineup and make an impact after the Bills drafted him in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

The former Florida Gators cornerback has not been able to consistently keep that starting job. Even with a good summer, there is no guarantee he will be the starter as Benford and Douglas played really well last season but it definitely would be a boost for the entire position if Elam takes that next step.
