Jake Kumerow
Among the four players that are still free agents from the Buffalo Bills last season, Jake Kumerow is probably the most surprising. He spent the past three seasons with the Bills and while he wasn't heavily involved in the offense (he only had seven receptions on 14 targets during that stretch), Kumerow was a key part of special teams.
In 2021, Kumerow would play 264 special team snaps and appear in 15 games.
This past season Kumerow dealt with a number of injuries and would end the year on injured reserve. The thought was it was due to an ankle injury but it was later reported by The Buffalo News that it was a back injury that forced him to miss the rest of the season and he had surgery to correct it.
The back surgery could be a contributing factor to him being unsigned but if he is healthy, Kumerow should be able to find a team this upcoming season.
