4 rookies made the 53 - Kincaid, Torrence, Williams and Shorter

The Buffalo Bills drafted five players from the 2023 NFL Draft and only guard Nick Broeker did not make the 53-man roster. More than likely he will be added to the Bills' practice squad but the other four rookies I think will have an impact to some degree in 2023.

The impact that Kincaid will bring goes without saying. Torrence I believe will become a dominant force on the Bills' interior. For Williams, I think his impact will be seen on special teams. He showed in the preseason he can get it done and he will be making plays there. Shorter's impact may be less than the others, but I think he can be a red zone weapon for Allen the Bills' offense.

5 DE, not including Miller

Some fans might be a little surprised that Jonathan Kingsley made the final roster but he played well in the preseason and earned the spot. I don't think he's done having to earn his role on the roster though. Von Miller will remain on the PUP, which means he's out for the first four weeks.

The likely scenario here is one of the five defensive ends currently on the roster will get moved to the practice when Miller returns. My guess is it will be either Shaq Lawson or Kingsley. They'll have to show over the next four weeks they belong and battle for that fifth spot.
