There were not many fans who expected the Buffalo Bills to be where they currently find themselves. They are 5-4, lost three of their last five games and currently find themselves outside of the playoffs.
However, there is still almost half a season left for the Bills to turn their season around and this is something they have shown they can do in the past. Last year, they were 6-3 before winning their final seven games of the season.
If the Bills are going to make a similar run, these are four players that could play a big role in that and appear set up to have a big second half of the season.
4 Buffalo Bills who are set for a strong second half of the season
Linval Joseph
The Buffalo Bills signed Linval Joseph as a free agent last Wednesday and he would not only play on Sunday but be a key part of the defense. He finished the game playing 43% of the defensive snaps and had two tackles.
The Bills have been missing a player like Joseph since DaQuan Jones suffered a torn pec in Week 5 and is now set to miss the remainder of the season. The role Linval Joseph plays won't rack up the stats but he will make all the players around him better by clogging up lanes and keeping blockers engaged.
It was remarkable for him to have the game he did against the Bengals and he should only get better as he gets more familiar with the defense and the players around him.
