Josh Allen
While it was Sam Martin's punt and coverage team that was the deciding play, there were plenty of issues prior to that. Most of those issues fall on quarterback Josh Allen, who had an awful game against the New York Jets.
In the past few games, Jets' head coach Robert Saleh has been able to frustrate Allen and he hasn't played particularly well. However, this game didn't seem to be as much as what Saleh was doing but rather Josh Allen making careless throws.
He finished the game with three interceptions and all three were just awful throws that is often only seen by rookies. The first interception came in the second quarter on 3rd and 8 where he threw it deep to Deonte Harty.
That interception could be justified as a really great punt because it was third and long and the Jets started their drive at the four yard line. However, he would then have three turnovers in the second half with an interception, on what seemed exactly like the first one, on 2nd and 13, followed by a throw to Gabe Davis that was undercut by Jordan Whitehead for the third interception.
The franchise quarterback seemed rattled and on the very next drive mishandled the snap and fumbled the ball. The Bills defense did all they could but it is almost impossible to win a game with four turnovers.
