Tyrel Dodson
Tyrel Dodson has primarily been a backup for most of his career with the Buffalo Bills. However, the team suffered a big blow at linebacker when Matt Milano suffered a season-ending injury.
The Bills initially gave Dorian Williams a chance to replace Milano but would switch to Dodson. It opened the door for him and took a hold of the opportunity. He would start 10 games and finish the year with 74 total tackles, 8 tackles for a loss, 6 QB hits, and 2.5 sacks.
This offseason, the Bills are going to have an interesting decision to make because the starters should be set with Terrel Bernard and a returning Matt Milano. However, Dodson showed how valuable he is to this defense and a long-term contract could give the position some stability with the depth Dodson brings.
