This season the Buffalo Bills saw a number of players take that next step in their careers. For some of these players, they entered the season with high expectations and lived up to them while others were pleasant surprises as the year went along.

When looking back on the 2023 season, these are the four players that improved the most over prior seasons.

Spencer Brown

The Buffalo Bills had two new starters on the offensive line this season with Connor McGovern at left guard and rookie O'Cyrus Torrence at right guard. The offensive line as a whole look much better and did a great job both protecting Josh Allen but opening up room for the running backs.

However, the player that might have been the most impressive was right tackle Spencer Brown. In the first two seasons, Brown struggled and looked overmatched at times. That wasn't the case this season though as he solidified that right side of the line.

He not only was at times the best lineman on the Bills but also in the NFL. According to Pro Football Focus, Brown had the best run-blocking grade in Week 15 against the Cowboys of any lineman in the NFL. This was the game that the Bills ran over Dallas with 49 rushing attempts and 266 rushing yards, which Brown clearly contributed.

The question for the Buffalo Bills is whether they believe Brown can continue at this level as they could look to extend him this offseason.
