2.) The AFC is only getting stronger

For many seasons now, the AFC has become superior in the NFL because of the quarterbacks that are in the conference. You have players like Allen, Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Justin Herbert, Joe Burrow and now C.J. Stroud who have been electric for their respective teams.

Then you also have guys who have shown promise for the future like Anthony Richardson. To top it all off, there is a good chance that one if not two of the best quarterback prospects coming out of college in Caleb Williams and Drake Maye will also be in the AFC for years to come.

Even though Allen is amongst one of the elite quarterbacks in the whole NFL, there are a lot of AFC quarterbacks that are at the same level if not higher than him. The super bowl window will always be open for the Bills as long as Allen is under center. That doesn’t mean it is going to be easier though.
