3 reasons fans should love the Buffalo Bills signing of Curtis Samuel
Curtis Samuel's best season was in Joe Brady's offense
When looking at Curtis Samuel's entire career, there is one season that really stands out as his best and that was in 2020. He was still with the Panthers and finished the year with a career high in receptions (77), receiving yards (851), and catch rate (79.4%).
The reason this is notable is that season Joe Brady was calling the plays for the Carolina Panthers as offensive coordinator. It was his only full season as offensive coordinator and the Panthers offense was pretty good considering Teddy Bridgewater was primarily the starting quarterback and Mike Davis was the starting running back for most of the season.
The addition of Curtis Samuel to this offense, which is way more talented than the Panthers in 2020, with Joe Brady calling the plays could give the Buffalo Bills a true number two wide receiver that not only can take pressure off Stefon Diggs but open up some of the field for tight end Dalton Kincaid.
