3 reasons fans should love the Buffalo Bills signing of Curtis Samuel
it has been a quiet free agency period for the Buffalo Bills and that wasn't overly surprising with the lack of salary cap space. However, on Thursday they made their first big splash of the offseason by signing free agent wide receiver Curtis Samuel.
Samuel was a second round pick by the Carolina Panthers in the 2017 NFL Draft, which would be Brandon Beane's last draft with the Panthers before being named general manager of the Buffalo Bills shortly after. He would play four seasons in Carolina before signing as a free agent with Washington and played his last three seasons there.
The Bills reportedly signed Samuel to a three-year deal worth $24 million with $15 million guaranteed. It will be interesting to see how the contract is structured but from strictly a fit for this offense and addressing a need, this is a great move for the Buffalo Bills.
