2.) Game placements between the two teams

The Buffalo Bills and the Jets will face off in Week 1 and Week 11, so in September and November. Like how Rodgers has struggled in the season opener the last two seasons, the Bills on the other hand have had recent success in their season openers.

In the Bills’ last four season openers, they have won three of those games and two of them were against the Jets in 2019 and 2020 (one in MetLife and one in Buffalo). The Jets also have not won a season opener since 2018, which was Sam Darnold’s rookie season.

In their Week 11 matchup, the Jets travel to Buffalo to take Josh Allen and the Bills. By this time, it will start to get cold and maybe even potential snow could be a factor. Since 2013, the Bills and the Jets have faced each other seven times in the month of November. The Bills have been winners in five of those seven matchups. The Bills will look to make it six out of eight wins in the month of November against the Jets.
