Colt McCoy

Colt McCoy is a veteran quarterback who has been a journeyman similar to quarterbacks like Case Keenum or Ryan Fitzpatrick. The former third round pick entered the league in 2010 and has played with five different franchises including most recently the Arizona Cardinals.

McCoy has 36 career starts including six in the past two years with the Cardinals with 1,520 passing yards, four touchdowns, and four interceptions. Entering this season, McCoy looked to be the favorite to be the starter again before Arizona traded for Joshua Dobbs recently.

This might be the best option of the three quarterbacks because McCoy would be able to step into a similar role that Matt Barkley was expected to play this season. He is a veteran quarterback that could be another set of eyes for Josh Allen on the sideline during the game and if the need were to arise that someone would need to replace Josh Allen, having a veteran quarterback to compete with Kyle Allen could be the right fit.
