In what could be their final home game of the season, the Buffalo Bills (9-6) will host Bill Belichick potentially for the final time in their home stadium and take on the New England Patriots. It was the Patriots who picked up the first matchup between these two back in Week 7.
Since then, things have changed for both teams. The Bills snapped out of their mid season slump and have won their last three games, while the Patriots have been eliminated from playoff contention and made the transition at quarterback from Mac Jones to Bailey Zappe.
In their Week 7 victory against the Bills, it was Jones who was operating under center and he looked great. In addition, the New England defense contained and stopped the Bills’ offense from doing anything up until the fourth quarter. They set the tone right from the start on Josh Allen’s first pass attempt by intercepting it.
The Buffalo offense will need to come out swinging right from the start, and it will all begin with the mentality of Allen.
