3.) Stefon Diggs

The old saying “don’t fix it if it is not broken” is a great comparison to the connection that Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs have had since Diggs’ arrival in 2020. The passing game was not a huge factor for the Bills against the Commanders, but Diggs got his targets, catches and yardage.

He finished the game with 8 catches for 111 receiving yards off of 12 targets. He was the most target weapon for the Bills, as the next closest was Gabriel Davis with four targets.

With this performance, Diggs now has two games where he has over 100 receiving yards in which he is averaging over 11 yards per reception. The star wideout has been one of the security blankets for Allen this season on the short routes and he has had times where he is able to pick up a big gain.

As the season progresses, look for Diggs to continue being utilized in the short game to pick up the easy first downs.
