3.) Tua Tagovailoa is sacked 4+ times

Part of the reason why Dolphins’ quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is looking like an early MVP candidate is because he is not only getting the ball off quickly after the snap, but he has only been sacked one time and only hit four times. When the protection is good upfront, that gives Tua all the time in the world to find a Tyreek Hill or Jaylen Waddle to hit them in stride for a big gain if not a touchdown.

On the other sideline, the Bills’ defense has racked up 12 sacks and 25 quarterback hits. They are also averaging three takeaways per game, with atleast one takeaway in each of their last three games. Defensive tackle Ed Oliver has been explosive by getting into the backfield every other play and overall, the front four of the Buffalo defense has been physical in creating pressure.

The Bills’ defense has to fire off the snap and get in Tua’s face to disrupt the flow of the offense and to make the secondary have an easier day than anticipated. In doing so, they have the chance to hit Tua around and make him uncomfortable. If they hit Tua, Hill and Waddle can’t be burners down the sideline to get six points.
