We are beyond grateful to experience the greatness of quarterbacks that are currently in the NFL. For the foreseeable future, the league is in great hands with young quarterbacks, and the veterans that are completely dominating the league. One of those veterans is Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills.

The reigning 2024 MVP had a fantastic year last season and it was capped off with him getting his first MVP award. He wasn’t just putting up stats that made his case, but he was setting both franchise and league records. One of his biggest accomplishments was becoming the first player in history to record 40+ total touchdowns in five consecutive seasons. I mean, come on, that’s just unbelievable.

However, you will always get fans and analysts who will argue that Allen isn’t the best quarterback in the league. While everyone can have their own opinion, it’s hard to argue with facts and the game tape we see from Allen during the season. He proved that he is the most valuable player to his team than any other player on another team. Not only that, but he finds ways to take over a game at any moment.

When you think of the quarterbacks that are in the same tier, some names that pop up are Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and maybe Joe Burrow (depending on who you talk to). I bring those names up because one, these four quarterbacks are within the same tier. Two, John Kosko from Pro Football Focus (PFF) recently put together a QB ranking of all 32 quarterbacks going into 2025 and there was major respect given to Allen from Kosko.

PFF misses the mark on QB rankings heading into 2025 involving Josh Allen

Not only did Kosko not put Allen at the top of this rankings list, Kosko put Allen below Mahomes (No. 1), Burrow (No. 2), and Jackson (No. 3). Kosko put Allen at No. 4, which is completely wrong.

"Allen’s 95.4 overall grade over the past three seasons ranks first among all quarterbacks. His 91.4 passing grade in that span is third, behind Burrow and Lamar Jackson. Despite losing his top two receivers from 2023, Allen didn’t miss a beat in 2024, delivering his most complete season yet and earning his first MVP award."

We can go into the grades that are given to each player, but the fact of the matter is that Allen is the most dominant quarterback on this list (maybe on the same level as Lamar Jackson). Leaving Allen out of the top three, let alone not placing him first on this list should make Bills fans angry.

It looks like 2025 will have to be another season where Allen once again proves that he is the best quarterback in the league.
