The 2025 NFL schedule is officially released and we have an exciting season coming up for the Buffalo Bills. The Bills are kicking off their season at home under the lights on Sunday Night Football against a team that they barely knocked out of the playoffs last season; The Baltimore Ravens. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are looking to get some revenge but they will have to do it in the place where they saw their season come to an end.

Overall, Buffalo does not have a terrible schedule at all. They are in five primetime games (3 home, 2 away) and have an evenly spread out schedule rather than having a gauntlet with teams like the Ravens, Chiefs, Eagles, and Bengals in consecutive weeks.

We all know that the 2025 season will be the final season in the current Highmark Stadium, as the Bills’ new stadium that is being built across the street and is expected to be ready for the 2026 season. This is the final year where the Bills can bring home the Lombardi trophy with their  current stadium. This season is going to be an emotional one for sure.

The 2025 season is going to be filled with many emotions for Bills fans

Not only will the Bills and Bills Mafia be saying bye to the current stadium, but there will be a moment during the season where the Bills will be wearing a “Farewell Season” patch on their home uniforms in a specific home game to be announced later on.

There has been so much history that has happened in the stadium, both good and bad. Whether it was the Bills giving the Patriots a famous 47-17 beatdown in 2022 in the first round of the playoffs or the infamous comeback game where the Bills came back being down 35-3 against the Houston Oilers to win 41-38 in the 1993 playoffs.

There has been plenty more throughout history and hopefully Bills Mafia got to experience some of it. This is going to be an emotionally tough season because each week that goes by, it gets closer to officially saying goodbye to the stadium that helped build the Bills.

It’s time to get the job done and bring a Lombardi trophy to Western New York before heading across the street to the brand new stadium.
