NFL Network analyst has perfect reaction to Bills walk-off win over Dolphins
By Brandon Ray
The Buffalo Bills are going to be the major topic of the week for the right reason. Despite beating a two-win team by just three points, they showed fight and managed to make a comeback win over the Miami Dolphins in front of Bills Mafia. Buffalo has turned things around after a disastrous two week stretch early on in the season, with winning their last four games.
Since Week 6, all that the Bills know how to do is win. They have taken down the New York Jets, Tennessee Titans, Seattle Seahawks, and now the Dolphins. They are heading into Week 10 with a 7-2 record and they have completely separated themselves from the rest of their division rivals.
While Buffalo has seven wins alone, the Jets, Dolphins and Patriots have seven wins combined. In addition, they also have 19 combined losses while the Bills have only lost twice this year. Long story short, the Bills are running away with the division early on in the season.
There is no other division like this where there is a runaway winner up to this point. The Bills have put the NFL on notice and showed that they are going nowhere. With their latest win over Miami, NFL Network analyst Rich Eisen gave the perfect reaction to the Bills’ 30-27 walk-off win over the Dolphins:
Buffalo Bills can clinch a playoff spot very soon
We are at the point where it’s not if the Bills are going to make the postseason, but more so when they are going to officially clinch the division. They already have three divisional wins and it would take an absolute meltdown by Buffalo to let any of the other three teams catch them for the division. Now granted, the Bills have a tough stretch coming up with the Indianapolis Colts and Kansas City Chiefs.
The Bills are going to need to bring their A-game in the second half of the season and they ultimately need to show that they can beat some of the top teams in the AFC. Their only win over a team that had a winning record going into a game against the Bills was the Seattle Seahawks. Granted, they delivered a beatdown to them in front of the 12s.
Rich Eisen makes a great point that because where things stand with the Bills, it is safe to say that they will be in the playoffs. Still, there is plenty of football left and Buffalo has yet to show that they can consistently beat some of the top teams.
