For the third consecutive season, the Buffalo Bills have swept the Miami Dolphins. It seems like a recurrence each season and it also helps the Bills pull further away in the division. Earlier in the season in Week 2, Josh Allen was dealing with a left hand injury that kept him very limited. At the same time, the Bills didn’t need him because James Cook was causing havoc for the Bills in a 31-10 rout of the Dolphins.

This time around, Allen was fully healthy and the Dolphins were in Orchard Park. This was the perfect opportunity for Allen to continue his dominance of the team that he always seems to have his best game against.

It was a little bit of a slow start for Allen though, as his offense was held to six points in the first half and found themselves trailing the Dolphins. Once the third quarter came, Buffalo’s offense started to click and it all started with Allen.

Allen finished this game against the Dolphins going 25/39 for 235 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also had an interception, but it wasn’t his fault since Keon Coleman let it go through his hands right into Jalen Ramsey’s lap.

The first touchdown for the Bills was a connection from Allen to Mack Hollins. Then Allen threw a short pass to running back Ray Davis who would then take it 63 yards to the house. Finally, Allen did what he does best and make a ridiculous tossing throw to tight end Quintin Morris inside the five-yard line.

Josh Allen’s second-half performance saved the Buffalo Bills

In the second-half alone, Allen went 13/20 for 156 passing yards and 3 touchdowns, per Pro Football Focus.

Even without Amari Cooper, Allen still managed to connect with eight different weapons and the second-half is where he shined the most which ultimately saved the Bills from a trap game loss. With this win, Allen has the Bills feeling great about themselves at 7-2, while they sent Miami to 2-6 and essentially ended any hopes of clinching a playoff spot.
