The Buffalo Bills had a memorable start to the season, to say the least. The Bills overcame a 40-25 deficit in the fourth quarter to pick up a 41-40 victory and to start the season with a 1-0 record. To make this win that much more impressive, they did so after running back Derrick Henry and wide receiver Zay Flowers had huge games for the Ravens.
But the fans were in the story. Bills quarterback Josh Allen called out fans who left Highmark Stadium early when it appeared the game was lost. But then, there was the fan who put his hands on Ravens wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and quarterback Lamar Jackson. As Hopkins celebrated his one-handed touchdown catch, the fan hit Hopkins in the helmet and Jackson, leading to the latter shoving the fan back into his seat.
On Monday, the Bills made an expected announcement. The fan is banned indefinitely from the Bills' Highmark Stadium and other NFL stadiums. It was revealed that the fan was ejected from the game after the shove.

Bills fan banned indefinitely from NFL stadiums for shoving Lamar Jackson and DeAndre Hopkins
This was the expected result. Fans absolutely shouldn't put their hands on a player, especially when they are on the playing field. The fan hitting not one, but two players? That's about as easy of a decision as possible by the Bills.
After the game, Jackson expressed remorse for retaliating against the fan, even though he was hit in the head.
"I let my emotions get the best of me ... I'll learn from that."

"I seen him slap [Hopkins]...he slapped me and he talking, so I just forgot where I was. You've got to think in those situations," said Jackson. "We've got security out there, let security handle it. But I did let my emotions get the best of me, but hopefully it don't happen again. I'll learn from that."
Let that be a lesson to any fan of any team who attends a game. Don't do anything stupid, because you are going to get banned from not just one stadium but all of them. And never put your hands on players. That should be self-explanatory.
