Sorry, Buffalo Bills fans -- Roger Goodell and the NFL have spoken and the team has been chosen to appear on Hard Knocks this summer. It's an honor that not many teams want and the Bills had been able to avoid being selected for it due to the rule that stemmed from playoff teams weren't eligible.

Well, after those rules got upended last year, the Bills didn't have anywhere to hide and now their dirty laundry will be airing for all of those to see this summer. It's an interesting pick truthfully because don't people want to watch teams who don't have their stuff together?

There's a reason the Browns, Giants, and Jets might for compelling Hard Knocks content and that's because there's far more drama there than there is in Buffalo. Those teams have quarterback issues, ownership problems, and coaches on the hot seat. Buffalo has none of that.

Roger Goodell just made the Bills’ offseason a national spectacle

The Bills are coming off their best season since 2020, making it all the way to the AFC Championship Game and Josh Allen winning MVP for the first time in his career. Perhaps that's why Buffalo was chosen to be on the show. Allen finally got the respect Bills fans were clamoring he deserved and now it'll follow him after winning the Most Valuable Player nod.

It would have made more sense to follow the Bills last offseason when they lost tons of key players and everyone said they were cooked. No one thought Allen had anyone worth throwing to and the Bills had been written off in favor of the Dolphins and the Jets (yes, the Jets). Well, as we saw, Allen had his best year yet and didn't follow the script that everyone had been writing for him.

Hopefully the Bills don't give the NFL anything with this appearance and then don't get chosen again. That's what fans should hope for.
