While Buffalo Bills fans will be seeking out the moves that general manager Brandon Beane will make to help improve the roster, they will also want to keep an eye out on the rest of the AFC East and what the Patriots, Jets, and Dolphins do.

New England has the most cap space in the NFL so they might be able to attract a lot of free agents. The Jets are starting from the ground up under a new regime so who knows what they will do. Then there are the Dolphins, who have been the closest threat to the Bills, and are looking to find ways to finally take the AFC East away from Buffalo.

Miami is one of those teams that has a lot of success early on in the season but then they crumble down the stretch. Tua Tagovailoa, who is a solid quarterback, has a major injury history and he can’t play well in colder temperatures. The Dolphins are going to have to find other ways, whether it’s on offense or defense to get over the top of the AFC East.

NFL insider says Dolphins will have a strong interest in edge rusher Joey Bosa

According to NFL insider Dianna Russini, former Chargers edge rusher Joey Bosa “is expected to garner strong interest from the Dolphins”. It's interesting that the Dolphins would have interest in Bosa, but it also makes sense considering the fact that Miami couldn't produce a consistent pass rush.

The only down part about Bosa is that it’s been three years since he’s had a full season of production. He’s become a little too injury-prone, but he’s still considered a top player just because when he is healthy, he’s a one-man wrecking crew. The five-time Pro Bowler’s best days are behind him, but he could easily take on the Von Miller role where he only comes in on third down to be the closer.

Ideally, it would make sense for Bosa to head up to northern California and join his brother on the San Francisco 49ers. However, if Miami gives him a good enough offer, it wouldn’t be a shock to see Bosa move from southern California to southern Florida and make the Bills face him twice a year next season.
