When the Buffalo Bills decided to make the move and trade for wide receiver D.J. Moore from the Chicago Bears, it was the start of forming a new offense that the team had lacked the last two seasons. There was no true No. 1 receiver and there were a handful of games that Buffalo lost because of that factor.

With the acquisition of Moore, it should take a lot of pressure off of the offense through the air. Plus, a lot of people are thinking that since Moore was acquired by Buffalo, the Bills are no longer in business to trade for another top receiver. However, as we all know, anything can happen in the NFL and maybe, just maybe, another blockbuster trade could happen involving the Bills.

One name that has been constantly floated around as a possible trade target is Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown, in which the Bills have been linked to them many times for what seems like forever. Now that Moore is in Buffalo, you would think that the Bills would be backing out of any discussions for Brown.

At the same time, Brandon Beane does always talk about how he is always looking to improve the roster.

A.J. Brown-to-Bills mock trade has Buffalo sending big haul to Philadelphia

Matt Okada from NFL.com put together a good amount of mock trades that involve Brown and different teams, including the Bills. In Okada’s mock trade, the Bills their 2026 1st-round (26) and a 2027 2nd round pick. Yikes, that is a lot.

"A passing attack led by Brown and Moore could ascend to the same stratosphere as the Bengals or Rams. Buffalo will need to surrender the 26th overall pick to make this happen, which would mean missing on a top-tier defensive piece or less costly rookie receiver. But if trading for Brown makes Joe Brady’s offense the most dangerous in the NFL, it might be worth it." said Okada.

Trading for Brown would absolutely give Buffalo one of the best passing attacks in the league. Not only having Brown and Moore on the outside, but also having both Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid in the middle would make Buffalo’s passing game nearly unstoppable. However, to trade away a first rounder this year (without already having a second round pick), and then dipping into next year’s draft capital would be very risky.

The Bills have a lot of holes on the roster that they still need to fill. Even though wide receiver would no longer be an issue, the defense needs a ton of work as it has been the main reason why Buffalo has been bounced early in the playoffs every single season in recent memory.
