The 2025 NFL season will officially start tomorrow night in Philadelphia where the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles will host their bitter division rival, the Dallas Cowboys in the first game of the regular season. No more preseason, no more figuring out who is going to be on the roster. It’s go time for all 32 teams.
The Buffalo Bills will host the Baltimore Ravens, who have revenge on their minds from last year’s playoff match where the Bills sent them home early. It’s a great way to end the first Sunday schedule, seeing Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson collide in a heavyweight battle between two of the best in the NFL.
Ever since the summer started and training camp began, we have seen countless power rankings for teams and players at their respective positions. Well, we have one at CBS Sprts written by Pete Prisco heading into Week 1 and Pricso has the Bills placed at the correct spot, whether fans agree with it or not.
Power rankings gives major love for Bills going into Week 1
Before the start of the season tomorrow, Prisco’s power rankings has the Bills as the second best team in the NFL, trailing only the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. Here’s what Prisco said about the Bills’ ranking for this week:
"They have the MVP back at quarterback in Josh Allen and the defense should be better. The injuries at corner are a concern, but they will be fine."Pete Prisco, CBS Sports
It makes sense that they aren’t the No. 1 overall. The Eagles have the better roster and are coming off a dominant Super Bowl win over the team that the Bills can’t beat in the playoffs. However, we know how great the Bills are in the regular season. Plus, we know how fantastic Josh Allen is in the playoffs, but his defense isn’t.
Bills Mafia, we have finally made it. Now we just have to wait for Sunday night to see the Bills take the field and defend their turf against a very tough opponent that is in the same tier as them.
