The Buffalo Bills had a bit of a lengthy final injury report compared to the last two weeks. There were already two players (Jordan Hancock and T.J. Sanders) who were ruled out, and four players who were listed as questionable.
One of those players was wide receiver Keon Coleman who missed two of the three Bills’ practices this week with an ankle injury. He missed Wednesday and Thursday, and then was just limited on Friday. It wasn’t a great sign for him, but Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network has reported that Coleman is expected to suit up for the Bills against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Keon Coleman set to play against Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3
Coleman is coming off a solid game in Week 2 against the Detroit Lions where he had 6 catches for 63 yards. Once DJ Moore went down with his shoulder injury in the first half, Coleman stepped up big time for the passing attack and caught all of his targets. After only getting one target in Week 1 against the Texans, Coleman started to slowly earn the trust back of Bills Mafia.
With Coleman expected to play, that helps the Bills a little bit in terms of the passing attack. In addition to Coleman, the Bills will also have running back Ty Johnson back in the lineup who will be making his 2026 debut after being out with a hamstring injury that goes back to the beginning of August.
While Bills fans will be looking to see if Coleman can build off of his Week 2 success, he's not the only receiver that had a questionable status going into this game.
DJ Moore remains questionable heading into Week 3
Wide receiver DJ Moore was also pinned as questionable from his shoulder injury that he sustained in Week 2. When Moore went down in the second quarter against the Lions, the way he fell in the endzone made it look like a serious injury. Fans had thought the worse. However, Moore only had an AC joint sprain which meant that the injury wasn't considered long-term.
Moore was limited twice this week in practice (Wednesday and Friday), but did not practice on Thursday. He is a true-game time decision, and Wolfe had reported on Saturday that if Moore was going to play, that he would need a pre-game shot in the shoulder to manage the pain.
The final inactives will be released at 11:30am EST and Bills fans will be looking to see if Moore will end up playing, or miss his first game since 2020.
