Think back to the 2018 season when the Buffalo Bills had spent the 7th overall pick on QB Josh Allen. Bills Mafia had been through a QB carousal for many years since Jim Kelly and there was desperation for stability at the most important position in the sport.

There wasn't any high expectation for the Bills during Allen's rookie season, considering that the front office was trying to rebuild the team even though they had made the playoffs in 2017.

Going into Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings, the Bills were at 0-2, having been outscored 78-23 in their first two games. The Vikings had the home field advantage and the Bills just simply didn't have the talent on paper to get their first win...until they did, with the start of the greatness known as Josh Allen.

Week 3, 2018 season was the start of the greatness of Josh Allen

To a surprise to most fans, the Bills took an early 17-0 lead over the Vikings in the 1st quarter. The Vikings had fumbled the ball away to the Bills on their first two offensive drives which helped Buffalo take an early lead, giving the Vikings no chance of hope.

Infact, Buffalo's first touchdown of the game came from a 10-yard rushing touchdown (start time at 0:13) from Josh Allen in which he ran to the corner of the endzone and dove with the ball in one hand to reach the pylon.

With the Bills being up 17-0 at one point, they were still being aggressive and then Allen made one of the most spectacular plays that you will ever see from a quarterback. Getting towards the end of the 1st quarter, the Bills were facing a 3rd down and Allen dropped back to pass, but pressure came quickly which forced Allen to scramble up the middle.

As Allen ran into the open field, Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr had him 1-on-1 to bring him down and force the Bills to punt. Instead, Allen leaped over Barr and jumped 3 yards into the air to pick up the first down (start time at 1:00).

The Bills went on to beat the Vikings 27-6 in a completely surprising blowout win and if people didn't know who Josh Allenw as before, they sure knew about it after this game.

Josh Allen put his name on the map with big win over Vikings (and the rest is history)

That was the introduction into what type of player Allen has become throughout his career. He is one of the most dynamic players to ever play the game. He owns a lot of Bills records, and has also set a ton of NFL history across the board.

Now, for the first time since his rookie season, Allen returns to the place where he started his journey to becoming the best quarterback in the NFL. However, it won't be an easy task as the Vikings have a ferocious defense led by DC Brian Flores.

Kickoff from Minneapolis is tomorrow night at 8:15PM EST and you do not want to miss this matchup.
