We’ve got a big AFC clash in Orchard Park between the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens, and Bills Mafia can’t wait to see the Bills take the field coming off of their bye week.

The Bills have won 11 consecutive games coming off a bye week since 2015, which puts pressure on Joe Brady to keep that streak going in his first year as the head coach for the Bills. While the Ravens don't present an easy matchup, their momentum is non-existant at this point since they are coming off back-to-back divisional losses.

As for Buffalo, they come into this game at 5-1 and are looking to get a big win in front of Bills Mafia. Obviously, the biggest x-factor for the Bills in order to get this win is none other than Josh Allen.

Josh Allen is the big key for a Bills victory in Week 8

Yes, I know that the Bills have James Cook in the backfield who can take over a game. Heck, maybe we will see the defense finally step up and not allow this game to become a close one down to the wire. In the end, it's Allen that will be the most important factor for the Bills.

Allen has taken on the Ravens 7 times in his career (6 times as the starter). Buffalo is 4-3 against Baltimore with Allen on the team which includes 2 playoff wins. In the games that Allen has played against the Ravens, he has completed 58% of his passes for 1,340 passing yards, 5 passing touchdowns, and 1 interception. He's also added 179 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns.

Now, you can focus on those stats, but it's also important to point out how Allen has performed coming off of a bye week.

First, he hasn't lost a game coming out of the bye week. In 8 career games coming out of the bye week, Allen has completed 61% of his passes for 1,530 yards and 12 touchdowns, along with 4 interceptions. He's also added 324 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns on the ground. Heck, he even managed to get a receiving touchdown in Week 13 in 2024 against the San Francisco 49ers.

With the extra rest and momentum for back-to-back west coast wins, Allen and the Bills are in a great position. However, we all know that it only matters with what happens on the field.

Predicting Josh Allen's Week 8 stats vs. Ravens

Buffalo's offense is among the elite tier of the NFL and there's no reason to believe that this unit won't deliver again. The Ravens are allowing 24 points per game to opponents while the Bills' offense is scoring 32 points per game. As long as there are no major injuries on offense, Allen is set up for an MVP-like performance.

Josh Allen's Week 8 stats prediction: 25/34, 230+ passing yards, 50+ rushing yards, 3 total touchdowns
