The Buffalo Bills are used to their coordinators getting poached as teams look to improve their own coaching staffs. This year might continue that tradition as Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady has been requested to interview with several teams (Bears, Jaguars, Jets, and Saints, as of this writing).
If quarterback Josh Allen can stop teams from being interested in his coordinator, he's sure going to try. When asked during his media session what Brady has brought to the Bills offense this year, Allen joked, "Nothing. Teams should stay away from him."
Obviously this is a joke and Allen's way of urging teams to leave his coordinator alone so that he can continue to benefit from having him around but it's probably not going to work. Considering what Allen has done this year without having a major weapon to throw to as he has in the past, teams will be interested in poaching Brady in the hopes that he can jumpstart an offensive explosion for them.

Brady took over as the Bills offensive coordinator in 2023 after the team opted to part ways with Ken Dorsey midseason. After Brady took over, Allen and the rest of the offense started cooking again and it made sense that Brady would retain the position in 2024. The offense has clearly been successful, sitting in the top 10 in total yards and second in points scored.
Brady was a hot name on the coaching/coordinator market after helping the LSU Tigers win a National Championship in 2019. He served as the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach that year at LSU and then promptly accepted the Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator position for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
More Bills news:
Brady joined the Bills in 2022 as the quarterbacks coach and then worked his way into the offensive coordinator role. It's gone quite well and now Allen is hoping that his warning does truly scare teams off.
With six head coach openings in the NFL and potentially more to come, it wouldn't be crazy if Brady landed a head coaching gig. Allen and Bills fans are hoping he stays put but if he doesn't, no one can blame him for wanting to move up to the next level.
