Tomorrow down in Houston, Texas, the Buffalo Bills will be looking to gain their first win in Houston for the first time since 2006. The last time the Bills beat the Texans in Houston, J.P. Losman was under center and he threw for 340 yards and 340 yards. Wide receiver Lee Evans had 11 catches for 265 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Buffalo ended up just winning 24-21, which is part of the history between these two teams where the games are close going towards the end of the game.
While Josh Allen has become a much better quarterback than Losman, he still has yet to win in Houston against the Texans. Allen's only win against the Texans took place in 2021 in Orchard Park, where the Bills win 40-0.

For the past two seasons, the Texans have beaten the Bills in close games. However, last year’s matchup didn’t feel close at all as Allen was sacked 8 times by Houston’s ferocious defense. With Buffalo being more healthy than they were in last year's matchup, there is a different kind of excitement.
Even though Allen hasn't always performed well against the Texans, he is still the best quarterback in the league and he is constantly climbing up some kind of history ladder, whether it's in passing or rushing.
Allen is a great dual-threat quarterback who can be just as dangerous with his legs as he is with his arm. It's no surprise to see Allen get into the endzone because of his legs, whether it's from the tush push, or if he scrambles out of the pocket and gets into the endzone.
Going into this matchup against Houston, Allen can tie some NFL history with his legs.

According to the Buffalo Bills’ PR X account, if Allen gets two rushing touchdowns in this game, that will put him at 81 career rushing touchdowns and he would tie Frank Gore and Otis Anderson for the No. 20 overall spot on the NFL’s all-time rushing touchdown list.
With the way that Houston’s defense will be bringing pressure (especially from Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter), there might be plenty of times where Allen is going to have to scramble in order to get away from the pressure. That could very well put him in a position to just take the ball himself in for six points.
Or, the Bills could be in a position on Houston's 1-yard line, and then we know what should be coming with Allen sneaking in up the middle for a score.
Bills fans should not be surprised to see Allen use his legs more than his arm, despite him having a true No. 1 receiver in DJ Moore. At this point, it's not about how you win, the main goal should just be to win.
