This divisional round matchup is going a lot more different compared to Week 4. The Buffalo Bills were blown out by the Baltimore Ravens in the regular season, but the Bills are in control in the first half. Sure, the Bills gave up an opening-drive touchdown, but they have adjusted very well.
As for Buffalo’s offense, they have been on point for most of the game up to this point. They have established the run and they are flat out dominating the line of scrimmage. It is a completely different story than what it was back in the regular season. Buffalo is getting the extra edge and is punishing the Ravens.
Like always, Josh Allen is playing a major role in this first half beatdown. Buffalo is up 21-10 and two of those touchdowns belong to Allen on the ground. The infamous tush push helped Allen get into the endzone from one yard out and four yards out.
Josh Allen closes on passing playoff record held by Tom Brady
According to the Buffalo Bills PR X account, Allen has rushed for his 7th career postseason rushing touchdown which ties him with Tom Brady for the second-most all time by a quarterback.
Every week, you can always predict that Allen is going to reset records or create some that we have never seen before. The way he carries the offense and the way he has been able to make plays shows why is so dominant and his climbing up the history rankings (for the right reasons).
Allen has to keep playing like Superman in order for the Bills to get a win against Baltimore. Even though the Ravens are physical and flat out tough, Allen is a handful to handle and the Ravens’ defense hasn’t looked great up to this point.
There would be nothing better than seeing Allen and the Bills get back to the AFC championship game for the first time since 2021 and get another shot at Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. However, they must first put Baltimore away and send them home for the offseason.
