The Buffalo Bills’ Week 4 matchup against the New Orleans Saints has been very underwhelming and to be honest, it was one of the worst first-half performances we have seen in awhile from the Bills. Despite holding a 14-10 lead going into halftime, Buffalo was allowing New Orleans to stick around.

Coming out of the locker room and getting started into the second half, the Bills needed a little bit of a spark to put this game away against an opponent that is one of the worst in the league. After getting a stop on defense, the Bills took the ball back up by four and Josh Allen led the offense to a 9-play, 80-yard drive that resulted in an Allen rushing touchdown.

That touchdown not only put the Bills up by 11 points, but Allen put himself in position to keep climbing the record books, both in Bills history and in NFL history. According to the Buffalo Bills’ PR X account, Allen’s rushing touchdown surpassed O.J. Simpson for the third-most scrimmage touchdowns in team history (70).

The Bills’ PR X account then reported that this game was Allen’s 45th career game with a rushing and passing touchdown, which ties Cam Newton for the most games with a rushing and passing touchdown in history.

Josh Allen keeps putting himself in history books

Without him, the Bills would not be the elite team that they are today. Ever since Allen was drafted, he’s been making phenomenal plays and re-writing history, in both franchise and NFL history. He is already one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks that the league has ever seen and he is still well in his prime. Bills Mafia can expect this kind of greatness to continue on as long as Allen is in his prime.
