After enjoying the week off in Week 7, the Buffalo Bills defended their home turf with a 36-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens who got hit with the worst injury luck. They didn’t just lose Lamar Jackson on the first play for the Ravens’ offense, but they ended up losing his backup in Tyler Huntley so it was Joe Fagnano who had to finish the game under center for Baltimore.

Obviously, Buffalo's defense had a major advantage due to this unfortunate setup for the Ravens and they did their job by only allowing 144 total yards off offense. However, it was Buffalo's offense that continued to thrive despite some bad possessions throughout this game.

Bills' offense led by Josh Allen and James Cook continues dominance

In 5 of Buffalo's 6 wins, they have scored 30+ points and they can become nearly unstoppable. It helps that Josh Allen is under center and is playing some of his football that we have ever seen. It also really helps that he has a great running mate in James Cook right behind him.

Since these two became starters together, they have been one of the most dominant QB/RB duos in the NFL and they have continued on a historic run against the Ravens in Week 8.

According to ESPN Insights on X, this win over the Ravens marked the 16th time that Josh Allen and James Cook both had a rushing touchdown in the same game which is the most by a pair of teammates in history.

Buffalo's dynamic duo strikes again in Week 8 victory

It's rare for an offense to have a quarterback of Allen's greatness, along with one of the best rushing attacks led by James Cook. The Bills may have had problems with the wide reciever room in prior years, but their rushing game with Allen and Cook is nothing to be worried about.

Between Allen and Cook, this duo ended with 110 rushing yards and 2 rushing touchdowns against the Ravens. Now with DJ Moore and a healthy Dalton Kincaid in the mix in the passing game, this Bills offense has the chance to make some history once the season is over with.

Now, the Bills' offense will take on their toughest matchup yet in Week 9 when they travel up to Minnesota to take on the Vikings and their ferocious defense that is led by Brian Flores. Let's see how they perform against an elite unit that has been destroying opponents.
