This is going to be a tough week for the Buffalo Bills and their fans as they will have to endure a painful 30-13 loss at the hands of the Miami Dolphins. This was by far the Bills worst loss of the season and for it to happen to a limited talented team within the division should make fans angry.
While the Bills remain in the playoff hunt and would be in the playoffs today, this has not been a promising year like other seasons. The Bills aren’t the same team that they once were and outside of the Jets and Panthers, they are not the dominant team that we are used to them being.
This is Buffalo’s second loss by double digit points this season and they have come from two underwhelming teams. The one loss against New England that ended their undefeated streak jump started the Patriots going on a run with the AFC East. When you combine these three losses together, there is so much to point out about this Bills team.
They couldn’t run the ball. Josh Allen looked lost, and the defense fell apart at crucial times. The complimentary football that fans have been hoping for each game has a small sample size and it’s been beyond frustrating.
Bills are not true championship contender team after Week 10 loss
While the Bills may have a winning record, they have too many obstacles to go up against. Their wide receiver room can’t create separation, the defense has been a liability all season long, and the injuries have been piling up during the season. It’s too much for Buffalo to overcome and right now, they aren’t even at the top of their division.
Not to mention, the Bills have a tough part of their schedule coming up. They have the Buccaneers, Texans, Steelers, and Bengals coming up in the next month. Tampa and Pittsburgh all have winning records, the Texans seem to always make life difficult for the Bills, and the Bengals offense could easily put up 40+ points on the Bills.
While fans should still find a way to believe in the Bills, this Week 10 loss against Miami makes it extremely difficult and it shines light on a lot of problems that the Bills have moving forward.
