You would think that after the Miami Dolphins committed a false start and then called a timeout before the first play of the game, things would go very easy for the Buffalo Bills. Well, that wasn’t the case at all as the Dolphins completely embarrassed the Bills from nearly start to finish.

Miami gets the biggest upset win of the week with a 30-13 win over the Bills, now putting Buffalo in the spotlight for the wrong reasons.

Yes, the defense did give up 30 points but they played tough for all 4 quarters and managed to pick off Tua Tagovailoa twice, including Cole Bishop’s opening drive takeaway. While they did give up two DeVon Achane rushing touchdowns (both 35+ yards each), that should not be the main focus. Instead, Buffalo's pathetic offensive performance should be focused on the most from this loss.

They couldn’t run the ball, Josh Allen looked lost at times, the offensive line was giving him much time, and of course, the lack of separation from the wide receiver continues to haunt this team. Buffalo lost the turnover battle and were absolutely horrendous on third down (5/15).

Bills' offense continue to face harsh reality check

Whether you want to blame it on the offensive line, lack of rushing attack, or the wide receiver continuing to struggle to separate, this Bills offense is just not dynamic enough if Josh Allen and/or James don’t get going. I understand that Allen and Cook are Buffalo’s best players on offense, but there has to be someone else that steps up and no one is.

Once defenses contain the rushing attack and can limit Allen through his playmakers, it becomes very difficult for the Bills’ offense to do anything. What happened to the offense that was on the field for the last two games?

We watched Buffalo put up 40 on Carolina, and then controlled Kansas City’s defense for the majority of the game. Yet, in Miami, this offense couldn’t do anything right against a bottom-tier defense that was missing two contributors in Rasul Douglas and Chop Robinson.

If we are being honest, this was supposed to be a bit of a confidence booster game for the Bills. For the next three weeks, they will be taking on Tampa Bay, Houston, and then Pittsburgh, all of whom are very tough teams.

Buffalo’s offense is the reason why the Bills dropped this game and they have a ton of work to do heading into next week’s game against the Buccaneers.
