Even Bills fans have to laugh at Aaron Rodgers' shot at the Jets after Week 1 win

For the first time in a few years, Bills fans can actually relate to Aaron Rodgers!

Buffalo Bills fans have spent the past two seasons heavily rooting against Aaron Rodgers due to his allegiance to the New York Jets. Well, those days are over, as Rodgers and the Jets broke up during the offseason. Rodgers is now a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers and played his old team in the first game of the 2025 regular season.

To the delight of Bills fans, the Jets did what they always do, coughing up the lead late in the game and were unable to retake it when they got the ball back. This led to a Jets loss and Rodgers didn't waste time taking a shot at his old team (again, much to the delight of Bills fans).

When asked how it felt to beat Aaron Glenn, the Jets' first-year head coach, after how the exit interview between the two went, Rodgers didn't hold back. Replied the Steelers quarterback, "Iwas happy to beat everyone associated with the Jets."

Bills fans will enjoy what Aaron Rodgers said about the Jets following Week 1 win

While it was funny to watch the Jets lose, their offense did play well, scoring 32 points and nearly coming away with the Week 1 victory. Fortunately, Jalen Ramsey (another former Bills foe) had a nasty hit on Garrett Wilson in the final minute that prevented the Jets from getting a first down they needed to continue their drive.

That being said, they still lost the game and doing so to a quarterback that was on their roster less than a year ago is pretty funny. It's even funnier that Rodgers expressed so much joy in beating his former team.

This doesn't necessarily mean that Bills fans like Rodgers or are going to root for him even with him out of the division, but if he's dunking on the Jets, you better believe Bills Mafia is going to be all about that.
