After the Buffalo Bills’ dominant Week 2 win over the Detroit Lions, they had to deal with some injuries involving some of their big players on both sides of the ball. Coming into this game against the Los Angeles Chargers, the Bills had four players listed as questionable. Three out of those four players are active while one is inactive.

Those three players that will be suiting up will be Keon Coleman, DJ Moore, and Ed Oliver. Earlier this morning, it was reported by Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network that Coleman was expected to play. That was the first domino to fall.

Just before the inactives became official, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Moore, who suffered an AC joint sprain in Week 2, is expected to play. Then Ian Rapoport from ESPN reported that Ed Oliver will play after being a last-minute inactive in Week 2 after suffering a hip injury in pre-game warmups.

Bills get health boost going into Week 3 against Chargers

The Bills' final inactives include the following players:

-WR Skyler Bell
-S Jalon Kilgore
-OLB Mike Danna
-OL Ar'maj Reed-Adams
-OL Jude Bowry
-DL T.J. Sanders

With Coleman and Moore dealing with their injuries, there was a serious concern that one or both of them would not be playing. If that had been the case, rookie Skyler Bell would have made his NFL debut. Instead, he will continue to wait as he has been ruled inactive.

Oliver re-joins the defensive line along with Deone Walker and Greg Rousseau, and this unit will be looking to make Justin Herbert's life more miserable than it already has been in his last two games.

Going into this week, the two players that we already knew would be out would be S Jordan Hancock (who has been placed on the IR) and T.J. Sanders, who had an appendectomy on Tuesday, per Chris Brown.

Even with Coleman, Moore, and Oliver being ready to go, it would be wise for the Bills to be cautious with them, especially with Moore out of all of them.

DJ Moore must be limited in Week 3 for Bills

I get it, Moore hasn't missed a game since 2020 (yes, you read that right). His durability is unquestioned and he is tough. Then again, it's a long season and we are still in the month of September. There is no need to have him out on the field every play. It would be smart of the Bills to keep him limited and on a snap count to make sure he is fully ready to go moving forward after this game.
