Within the AFC East alone, both the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills made splashes that shocked the NFL on Tuesday. The Jets started off the madness by trading for star wideout Davante Adams from the Las Vegas Raiders to reunite him with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Then the Bills made a big move of their own by trading with the Cleveland Browns to acquire star wideout Amari Cooper to pair with Josh Allen.

After both of these big news happened, later on in the day, the Houston Texans opted to trade running back Cam Akers to the Minnesota Vikings, who had traded for Akers last season. Long story short, it was a bust Tuesday in the NFL.

Going into Week 7 the NFL trade deadline is slowly approaching and from now until November 5th, there are going to be rumors and possible trades as well. Now we will just play the waiting game for some news to break.

Cody Benjamin from CBS Sports wrote an article on various moves that would make a major impact within the NFL for various teams. Fun fact, all of the teams in the AFC East were mentioned whether it was acquiring a player or shipping one out. As for the Bills, Benjamin recommended that they part ways with a future Hall of Fame edge rusher and send him to the NFC East.

Benjamin urges the Bills to trade Von Miller to the Philadelphia Eagles

In return for Miller, Benjamin listed the potential compensation as a conditional 2025 third-round pick.

"The Eagles got a conditional 2026 third for Haason Reddick prior to the season, but their prized offseason edge addition, Bryce Huff, has yet to pop. And while general manager Howie Roseman has been burned by in-season bets on aging veterans before, Miller has a history with new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, earning his last Pro Bowl nod under the coach with the Denver Broncos. Suspended through Week 8, he'd make for a last-gasp effort to inject the Eagles' hit-or-miss pass rush with life."

If the Bills were to move off of Miller, it would be a little bit of a surprise considering that he has looked like his oldself before being suspended for four games. The Bills’ edge rush group is thin without Miller so the coaching staff and front office would need to really be sure that moving off Miller is the right move.

Even with missing last week’s games, Miller is tied for first in sacks on the Bills along with A.J. Epenesa and Greg Rousseau. However, if the Bills can get a similar compensation like Benjamin listed for a defensive end that the Bills may move off of next season anyways, Buffalo would be foolish not to make the move.
