Immediately after the NFL Draft, teams were still working on bringing in players to sign as undrafted free agents. This is a chance for the Buffalo Bills and the rest of the NFL to sign players who went undrafted and still give them a chance to make an impact on the Bills. For example, look at linebacker Joe Andreessen, the local Buffalo native who was signed by the Bills last year. He impressed in preseason and earned a roster spot in 2024.

Brandon Beane and his staff pulled off a fantastic draft class, but their job wasn’t done. They have went out and signed undrafted free agents, hoping that they find some hidden gems for training camp and preseason to create big time competition.

*We will continue to update the list as we receive updates.*

Promising undrafted players Bills signed after 2025 NFL Draft

DE Hayden Harris, Montana

According to Tom Pelissero, the Bills' first undrafted free agent signing is edge rusher Hayden Harris. At 6-foot-5 and 255lbs, Harris is coming off a career year at Montana with 9.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, as well as an interception. Harris now joins a room that is really crowded so unless he can shine from the moment he steps onto the field for the Bills, he has a long way to go to make this roster.

WR Hal Presley, Baylor

Mike Garafolo first reported that the Bills were signing wideout Hal Presley as undrafted free agent. He's never had more than 429 yards in a season, but he has averaged over 13 yards per reception. It gives the Bills another potential weapon for the offense, or even an extra player for special teams.

DT Paris Shand, LSU

The Bills signed LSU defensive tackle Paris Shund according to Wilson Alexander. Born in Toronto, Shand is coming back up near where he was born and he will be looking to make an impact in a crowded defensive line room. Shand is a little undersized (6-foot-4, 275lbs) but he's an extra player the Bills can evaluate to see if he has a chance at making the roster, or being a potential practice squad player.

WR Kelly Akharaiyi, Mississippi State

The second undrafted free agent wide receiver the Bills signed, according to Ryan Talbot per NSAFootball. Akharaiyi had over 1,000 yards and 7 touchdowns in 2023. Then his production dropped big time in 2024 (391 yards, 2 touchdowns). However, the potential is there and he heads to Buffalo.

OL Jacob Bayer, Arkansas State

Per Mike Garafolo, the Bills signed Jacob Bayer from Arkansas State. According to Garafolo, Bayer had other offers but opted to choose the Bills. Smart decision by Bayer. Buffalo gets more depth on the offensive line with Bayer and the competition should be a lot of fun to watch in the trenches.

WR Stephen Gosnell, Virginia Tech

The Bills get themselves a reciever in Stephen Gosnell from Virginia Tech, according to Tony Pauline. Gosnell has signs of promise, but nothing that stands out much to give him a big chance at making the roster.

CB Daryl Porter Jr., Miami

According to Gaby Urrutia, the Bills signed cornerback Daryl Porter Jr. out of Miami, who will reunite with Jahmile Addae, the Bills' defensive back coach who has worked with Porter before. Buffalo grabs another defensive back and there is familiarity. That's a nice perk.

TE Keleki Latu, Washington

Tom Pelissero reported that the Buffalo Bills signed Washington tight end Keleki Latu, the brother of Indianapolis Colts edge rushrer Laiatu Latu. He is more of a receiving tight end which is the opposite of Jackson Hawes, who the Bills drafted in the 5th round.

LB Keonta Jenkins, Virginia Tech

The Bills already drafted cornerback Dorian Jones out of Virginina Tech, as well as signed undrafted free agent Stephen Gosnell out of Virginina Tech. Now according to Aaron Wilson, they get their third player from Virginina Tech in linebacker Keonta Jenkins to add to a room with Terrel Bernard, Matt Milano, and Dorian Williams.

DT Devin Brandt Epps, New Mexico

The Bills add another defensive tackle in Devin Brandt Epps from New Mexico, according to Aaron Wilson. He hasn't recorded a sack since 2022.

S Wande Owens, New Hampshire

Safety Wande Owens has signed with the Bills according to New Hampshire Football. The Bills didn't draft a safety so it's no surprise to see them getting a safety here.

OL Rush Reimer, Cal

Per Joe Buscaglia, the Bills are bringing in offensive lineman Rush Reimer from California. More depth for the offensive line heading into the summer.

Rookie minicamp invites

According to Ryan Fowler, the Bills have extended rookie minicamp invites to Miami defensive lineman Elijah Alston and University at Buffalo punter Ethane Duane.

Tom Pelissero then reported that former Wilfrid Laurier quarterback Taylor Elgersma, who had only played Canadian football until getting invited the Senior Bowl, is set to attend the Bills rookie minicamp.

Aaron Wilson reported that East Carolina running back Rahjai Harris has been invited to the Bills rookie minicamp. Harris had a fantastic season last year with 1,166 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The Bills have extened a rookie minicamp invite to long snapper Mason Napper from Miami, per Aaron Wilson.

Samford linebacker Noah Martin and Troy cornerback Demaje Yancey both received invited for rookie minicamp by the Bills, per Aaron Wilson. Later on, Wilson then confirmed that the Bills invited Stanford center Levi Rogers.

Aaron Wilson reported that the Bills have invited UAB offensive lineman D.J. Jones to rookie minicamp.
