It's no secret that a couple of top-tier pass rushers are unhappy. Could the Buffalo Bills pull off a major trade for one of them?

You just have to wonder how much more it is going to take before the Buffalo Bills get over the hump in the AFC? Many people thought that the 2024 NFL Season was going to be 'the year' for Buffalo, but alas, the team again could not slay the dragon when the playoffs rolled around.

On paper, Buffalo is arguably the most talented team in the AFC, but there could be an opening for this team to make a massive trade to finally get over the hump and separate themselves even more in the AFC.

Buffalo Bills trading for Micah Parsons could push the team over the edge

Micah Parsons is one of the top-3 pass rushers in the NFL and wants out of Dallas. He requested a trade a few days ago amidst some pretty dysfunctional or totally non-existent contract talks with the Cowboys.

Dallas honestly should have paid Parsons last year, but Jerry Jones clearly loves to do virtually nothing correctly. While it might not be likely that Jones and the Cowboys actually trade Parsons, what if a strong enough offer from GM Brandon Beane is enough?

It would surely require multiple first and second-round draft picks along with a starter or two. Furthermore, if Buffalo would pull that trade off, they'd also have to have a contract extension likely worth more than $40 million per year ready for Micah Parsons to sign.

However, there is a reason why Parsons would cost so much to acquire and extend - he's an elite player at one of the most important positions in all of sports, so if Buffalo does want to get even more serious about this, they should do whatever it takes to trade for the player and truly flip the AFC on its head.
