The Buffalo Bills are not taking their time with their pre-draft visits as they have already visited, or are set to visit with more prospects before the NFL Draft which is just in two weeks. One of their most table pre-draft visits is with Ohio State defensive tackle Tyleik Williams, who would be an excellent addition for the Bills defense.
Now there is another name that Bills fans should be on the lookout for come draft time. According to Ryan Talbot, the Bills are set to meet with Utah State wide receiver Jalen Royals next week for a pre-draft visit. Talbot expressed how much of an “absolute playmaker” Royals is and he is spot on.

Royals is an *absolute playmaker* with the ball in his hands. He is a day-two target for Buffalo.
Anyone who has watched SHOUT! knows how excited I am to report this one.#BillsMafia pic.twitter.com/l0umS2zuqv
While wide receiver isn’t a need for the Bills at all, if Royals is available in the second round, Buffalo should strongly consider using one of their second-round picks on Royals. Due to Buffalo not having a third-round pick riight now, Royals would be a second round pick for the Bills.
Bills could use another solid weapon for Josh Allen
Unless someone like Matthew Golden or Emeka Egbuka falls to Buffalo at No. 30, and there is no better prospect on the board that is a great need for the Bills, Buffalo may want to really consider bringing Royals to Orchard Park and spend a 2nd-round pick on him.
Royals broke out for Utah State in 2023 with 1,080 yards and 15 touchdowns ( in which he set a school record with those 15 scores). Last season, Royals was down in production because he missed time with a foot injury. He recorded 834 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Even though the Bills extended Khalil Shakir, signed Joshua Palmer, and have Keon Coleman from last season, bringing in another weapon for the MVP is never a bad idea. It just opens up the playbook even more with Joe Brady calling the plays. While Shakir is more of Allen’s go-to guy, Royals is fantastic in short routes and can help move the chains in crucial situations.
Royals is an interesting prospect and if he lands in the right offense, he has the potential to become a big contributor. Having Josh Allen throwing you the ball is a fantastic way to start out your NFL career.
