It’s been a fun season for the Buffalo Bills, who are currently 13-3 and have the No.2 seed in the AFC locked in for the playoffs. Their Week 18 game against the New England Patriots is meaningless to them, the most important thing is to keep everyone as healthy as possible.
Coming into this season, the Bills were heavily doubted. They were projected to lose the AFC East, after winning it the last four seasons. Instead, they responded by locking up the division before any other team did in their respective division. The effort by the players for Buffalo speaks to the result the Bills have delivered for their fans.
Pro Bowl Rosters
Some of those players have been recognized by being voted to the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl games. Two members of the Bills have not only been named to the Pro Bowl, but they are listed as starters on the roster. Superstar quarterback Josh Allen and his blindside protector, Dion Dawkins have been named as starters on the Pro Bowl rosters. Here are the rosters for the Pro Bowl games:
Buffalo Bills Alternates
The fact that only two players from the Bills, a 13-win team, are heading to the Pro Bowl games is ridiculous. In addition to Allen and Dawkins getting voted into the Pro Bowl, the Bills have eight alternates:

Should any voted-in players not go to the Pro Bowl games, there is a chance that an alternate for the Bills will be called in as a replacement. The Bills deserve to have more than two players be listed as Pro Bowl players. Not to mention, there are two players that were heavily snubbed.
James Cook and Greg Rousseau were snubbed from Pro Bowl
Even though Cook was listed as an alternate, he leads the league in rushing touchdowns and is 19 yards shy of hitting his second consecutive 1,000 rushing yard season. He and Josh Allen are one of three duos to each have 12+ rushing touchdowns each, yet he doesn’t get voted in. The running backs on the AFC roster that beat out Cook were Derrick Henry (starter), Joe Mixon, and Jonathan Taylor.
As for Greg Rousseau, he is having his best year as a pro where he has tied his career high in sacks (8) and he has 24 QB hits which is a career high for him. Without his production, the Bills’ defense wouldn’t be as solid. The fact that he wasn’t even listed as an alternate just shows that the Pro Bowl is once again all about popularity.
