The 2025 offseason is officially underway with the Super Bowl coming to an end last night. The Philadelphia Eagles delivered a major beatdown to the Kansas City Chiefs, winning 40-22. The Eagles managed to block any chance at the Chiefs completing the three-peat and they ended up winning their second franchise Super Bowl title.

Buffalo Bills fans were hoping that they would have been the ones watching the Bills compete for the Lombardi trophy. They have yet to get past the Chiefs in the playoffs, which is their first major test. However, it’s onto 2025 for the Bills.

Buffalo has already made some moves within the coaching staff. They have moved on from special teams coordinator Matthew Smiley after inconsistent production from the special teams unit. Even though it was thought that Smiley may end up coming back, the Bills ultimately decided to go in a different direction.

Then it was announced that the Bills were planning on hiring Mike Pellegrino, who has spent the last decade with the New England Patriots as both a coaching assistant and their cornerbacks coach. The hiring of Pellegrino is a very underrated move considering how well New England’s secondary has been over the years. Pellegrino should be able to come into Buffalo and improve this cornerback room.

According to Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport, former Bills’ QB coach and offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, who was with the Cleveland Browns last season is set to join the Dallas Cowboys coaching staff.

Dorsey was with the Bills from 2019 until the middle of the 2023 season. He was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2022 after Brian Daboll left. He only last a season and a half with the Bills in that role before being fired after Buffalo’s Week 10 loss to the Denver Broncos. He now joins the Cowboys coaching staff led by Brian Schottenheimer.

Adam Schefter then reported that Chad Hall, who was the Bills’ wide receiver coach from 2019-2022 before leaving for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2023, is set to join the New York Giants coaching staff as their assistant quarterbacks coach.

When Hall was in Buffalo, he worked closely with Brian Daboll in the development of the Bills’ offense. He now joins him in New York and will potentially get the chance to work with a new quarterback depending on what the Giants do this offseason.
