Latest Fantasy Football updates for the Bills: News, injuries and position battles
Keon Coleman continues to have uneven camp -- 8/13
Catalana stated that Coleman's summer has been filled with productive days and shaky ones. He's dropped a few passes while also making some impressive grabs. Despite that, he's still fighting with Josh Palmer for snaps and targets.
DJ Moore connection with Josh Allen is evident -- 8/13
Mike Catalana of Buffalo Plus revealed that Moore's rapport with Allen has developed quickly, as the two have found ways to connect multiple times for big downfield gains. His ability to stretch the field is telling, and he'll have a major role in this passing game.
Skylar Bell has faded when pads have come on -- 8/9
The Athletic’s Joe Buscaglia reported that Bell isn't among the top four receivers. DJ Moore, Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman and Joshua Palmer are ahead of him in the pecking order. Bell can separate, but his ball skills are holding him back.
Keon Coleman torched Maxwell Hairston in one-on-one drills -- 8/4
Coleman went 4-for-4 when matched up against Hairston (h/t Dan Fetes of 13WHAM). The former's combination of size and ball skills was evident.
It's going to take several strong practices in a row for Coleman to enter the fantasy discussion. Seeing him start stacking days is encouraging nonetheless.
Bills RBs getting much more work in the pass game -- 8/3
Under Joe Brady, the thought has always been that running backs will get more work and that's definitely been the case so far, again per Brasky. James Cook owners will be salivating as the touches could keep stacking up.
Josh Palmer makes play of the day -- 8/3
Palmer made what Brasky called the "play of the day" as he hauled in a deep pass from Josh Allen. He'll still have a hard time being fantasy-relevant even if he emerges as the WR3.
Skyler Bell not looking like he'll pay off in 2026 -- 8/3
The Bills reportedly have faith in Keon Coleman and Josh Palmer, according to Alex Brasky. The rookie continues to work with backup quarterbacks, which pours cold water on anyone hoping for a role in Year 1.
D.J. Moore stealing the show at Bills camp -- 7/31
Those wondering whether or not Moore had lost a step or was worth the steep price of a second-round pick will want to read the latest happenings at BIlls camp, per Sal Capaccio:
"Moore had an excellent day hooking up with quarterback Josh Allen, including two touchdown grabs. The first was in 7-on-7 when he got by the defense. It appeared cornerback Dee Alford may have slipped. But Allen saw him and uncorked the ball about 60 yards downfield for an easy touchdown that Moore caught through the raindrops.
"A little while later, Allen found Moore crossing over the middle, fired a laser to him, and watched Moore grab it, put a foot in the ground and take it upfield to the house."
Will Dalton Kincaid ever reach the ceiling his fantasy truthers have had for him? -- 7/29
One of the players fantasy managers still have questions about is Dalton Kincaid. Will he ever blossom into a consistent TE1? Head coach Joe Brady raved about Kincaid's talent and athleticism over the offseason. Maybe Brady will finally unlock Kincaid's ceiling.
How will the WR position shake out? -- 7/29
Everybody expects the most notable camp battle, in terms of fantasy impact, will be at the wide receiver position. First and foremost, who will lead the receiver room in targets: D.J. Moore or Khalil Shakir?
There are plenty of questions about what Moore still has to offer and whether or not he'll truly stand out as the team's WR1. Camp will provide answers.
Behind those two, it's Josh Palmer, Keon Coleman and Mecole Hardman. As we speak, none of those should excite fantasy managers.
Josh Allen has no limitations after offseason foot surgery -- 7/29
Way earlier this year, Josh Allen showed up to Joe Brady's introductory press conference in a walking boot. We're several months removed from knowing he had surgery following a broken bone in his foot and, just to put any lingering concerns at ease, Allen has no limitations. He is healthy and ready for camp, just as he was for minicamp.
