Brandon Beane peels back the curtain on Amari Cooper trade

Just a couple of days ago, the AFC East was all the football world could talk about, and for good reason. The Buffalo Bills were coming off a big Monday Night Football win over the New York Jets and, on the following day, each team made a huge move.

Of course, the Jets went out and traded for Davante Adams while the Bills secured Amari Cooper from the Browns.

It was a as if two division rivals exchanged blows in what might be a tight, season-long battle for the top spot in the AFC East; that is, assuming the Jets figure things out. As for the Bills, it only adds to their successful season, thus far, getting a talent like Cooper.

On Wednesday, Bills general manager Brandon Beane made an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show just a day after Aaron Rodgers made his regular appearance. McAfee, of course, wanted to know a bit more about the Cooper trade.

He asked Beane whether or not quarterback Josh Allen was involved in any part of the Cooper trade, and Beane was pretty honest, telling us that his quarterback is many times involved in potential personnel moves. Beane loves getting Allen's opinion.

"I'm pretty low key. Josh will prod me here and there. I may throw a name to him and just say, 'I'm looking. Don't get your hopes up,'" Beane said.

"We got a good relationship like that. He loves to give input."

The Amari Cooper trade is further proof the Bills are all-in on winning a Super Bowl

Obviously, we have already heard both Allen and Cooper's thoughts on one another. It sure sounds like there's a budding relationship between the two of them, which is fantastic. But, what does this trade mean, overall?

Beane went on to explain that this team, whether folks still believe it or not, is completely, 100 percent all-in on winning a Super Bowl. Beane even alluded to potentially making another move even after the Cooper trade, if need be.

"We're still all-in. We still got a few weeks before the deadline. If we feel there's something else that we need, or that can help us get over the top, we have been all-in all along," Beane said.

This is something Bills fans had struggled with believing over the past several months, watching the team lose many notable names and, of course, the Stefon Diggs trade being a big storyline wedged in there. But, Beane wants fans to know that, beyond the shadow of a doubt, this team is all-in on winning a title.

"As long as Josh Allen is our quarterback, we're going to try and win this thing," Beane said.
