Brandon Beane hints Bills may not be done making moves after Amari Cooper trade

It still feels like a dream that the Buffalo Bills actually pulled off a trade to acquire wide receiver Amari Cooper from the Cleveland Browns. This trade came less than 24 hours after the Bills defeated the New York Jets on Monday Night Football.

The news was a big shocker, coming right after the Davante Adams trade to the Jets. Buffalo’s biggest asset that they gave up was a 2025 3rd round pick, but we can’t forget that they already have two 2nd round picks next year.

Either way, the Bills get a true number one receiver in Cooper, and then there is also the factor of Cooper reviving his season from Cleveland. As Cooper starts the adjustment into catching up to speed with the Bills’ offense, general manager Brandon Beane spoke with the media and hinted at the Bills possibly not being done improving their team.

On the Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday, Beane mentioned that the Bills are still all-in and are willing to make another move if possible.

"We still got a few weeks before the deadline. If we feel there's something else that we need, or that can help us get over the top, we have been all-in all along. "

Brandon Beane needs to keep monitoring the market

What team wouldn’t want to keep improving their roster leading up to the trade deadline? Especially knowing that they are contending for a Super Bowl. After losing two consecutive games in Weeks 4 & 5, the Bills started to look like they were going to be going downhil. However, them beating the Jets this week and trading for Cooper puts them back in the conversation for being championship contenders.

Now granted, the Bills’ salary cap situation isn’t the greatest so financials do have to play a factor. Maybe a certain player gets released and is willing to sign a league minimum to win a championship with the Bills. Or there might even be a player that has a low cap hit this year that Beane can add.

Either way, even if Beane doesn’t make a move, monitoring the market is still crucial because you never know who or what may be available.
