No other team is playing as great as the Buffalo Bills right now. After taking down the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs two weeks ago, the Bills came into Week 13 looking to lock up the AFC East. All that they needed to do was defeat the San Francisco 49ers and they didn’t just do that, but they beat them down for all four quarters.
Now granted, the weather did help and the 49ers came into this game with injury disadvantages before losing Christian McCaffrey to a knee injury for the rest of the game. However, the 49ers are still a very talented team with the players they did have and the Bills still ran over them without hesitation.
Buffalo is sitting at 10-2 right behind the Kansas City Chiefs and the Bills are coming for the No. 1 seed. Josh Allen should be the leading candidate for the MVP award after his historic performance last night and the defense for Buffalo continued their dominance once again.
It's hard to look at what the Bills need to improve after this game. Sure, they could always work on the run-defense, but they adjusted well in the second half. With limited to almost no mistakes, Alex Ballentine from Bleacher Report was spot on with what the Bills need help in going into Week 14 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Ballentine claims that the Bills don’t need any help going into Week 14 just simply due to the fact that the damage they caused against the 49ers.
"The Niners might not be having their best season, but they're still a quality opponent that the Bills ran right through. What makes the win even more impressive is that they did it without Keon Coleman, Dalton Kincaid or Kaiir Elam. They all missed the game with injuries but should be back soon.Alex Ballentine, Bleacher Report
The Bills just need to stay healthy and they'll be in good position once the postseason starts."
Buffalo Bills are playing perfect football
While the Bills still need to work on getting the penalties down, there is almost nothing that stands out on what the Bills need to do keep improving. Now obviously they aren’t unstoppable, but they are a rolling train right now and it’s hard to place any team in front of them that can stop them.
Going into Week 14, the Bills are now focusing on the chase for the top seed in the AFC but they will need the Chiefs to drop one game in order for that to happen. However, Bills fans can enjoy this week being part of the team that are division winners.
