The Buffalo Bills find themselves in a great position heading into a Week 8 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. They are winners of their last two games and they will look to make it three in a row for the first time since their Week 3 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Bills are 5-2 with a commanding lead within the AFC East, with the Dolphins being in second place at 2-4 having already lost to the Bills in Week 2. Long story short, the Bills get a bit of a break this week in terms of not having to worry about a potential tiebreaker seeing as how the Bills and Seahawks play in different conferences.

At the same time, the Seahawks are no pushover. They are 4-3 heading into Sunday, on top of the NFC West under rookie head Mike Macdonald. Not to mention, Geno Smith is at the top of the league in terms of passing yards.

As of right now, the common theme of the Bills this year is that they have yet to beat a team with a winning record. All of their five wins are against the Cardinals, Dolphins, Jaguars, Jets and Titans. Only Arizona has atleast three wins, while the rest have two or less.

Two of Seattle’s wins (Denver and Atlanta) came against teams that have winning records. Needless to say, the Seahawks arguably have the better record despite having one less win. However, the Seahawks have yet to take on a quarterback like Josh Allen this year.

Seattle’s defense has had some struggles this year and now they will have to find a way to defend one of the league’s top quarterbacks who has yet to throw an interception this season. Not only will Josh Allen be a problem, but Amari Cooper has already started to catch on to the offense based off his production last week.

Predicting Bills vs. Seahawks final score

The Bills have yet to have a statement win against a solid team, but there is a first for everything. It’s been a long time since Buffalo has won a game in Seattle. As long as the Bills get off to a hot start and silence the Seahawks’ fans, Buffalo has a high chance of leaving the pacific northwest to win their sixth win of the season.

Score prediction: Bills def. Seahawks 20-17
