It’s been a long time since we could say this…it’s game day! Now granted, it’s just preseason but the Buffalo Bills’ coaching staff and Bills Mafia will be able to finally see the players perform in a live-game atmosphere. There will be plenty of things to focus on throughout this game, but in the end, it will just be great to see some Bills football.
This game will be played in the new Highmark Stadium, and it will be the Carolina Panthers that they will welcome in. It should be a very loud atmosphere, despite it only being a preseason game, but that shows the passion that Bills Mafia has for this team.
Carolina already has one preseason game under their belt as they won a thrilling Hall of Fame game against the Arizona Cardinals, but now they will face a Bills team that has better talent overall.
Both head coaches in Dave Canales and Joe Brady are planning to play their starters in some capacity today, giving those players a chance to show what they have improved on over the offseason, and fans will get to see a glimpse of what could come in the regular season. At the same time, everyone knows that it will be the show for the backups to prove their worth to gain a roster spot come September.

These two teams faced off against each other last season down in Carolina, where the Bills delivered a huge 40-9 beatdown of a win. James Cook rushed for 216 yards and 2 touchdowns, and Buffalo’s defense didn’t give up a touchdown until the 4th quarter.
Buffalo and Carolina last played against each other in the preseason in 2024, where the Panthers came out as winners with a score of 31-26. The only quarterbacks that took the field for the Bills in that game were Anthony Brown Jr. and Ben DiNucci. Running back Frank Gore Jr. did rush for over 100 yards and a score himself.
