The first day of training camp for the Buffalo Bills brought on promise and some concerns for the roster. Multiple players like Spencer Brown and Dawson Knox did not practice due to various injuries. However, players like Joey Bosa and Deone Walker were participants after dealing with injuries for quite some time.
Plays were made and players stood out just like we all expected. Both the offense and defense had its fair share of great plays, but there is one defensive rookie that really impressed and that is T.J. Sanders, who recently just signed his rookie contract.
According to Maddy Glab, the defensive line overall had a great day of providing lots of pressure and Sanders had multiple pressures along with Javon Solomon.

T.J. Sanders proving early on why Bills traded up for him in NFL Draft
Not only did the Bills draft Sanders in the second round, they traded up 15 spots from No. 56 to No. 41 in order to draft him. They believed in him so much that they aggressively traded up for him so it shows that expectations are big for him in his rookie season.
I could very well see Sanders being lined up everywhere in the trenches, but he seems more like a three-technique tackle behind Ed Oliver. The good news for Sanders is that Buffalo loves to rotate their defensive line more than anyone else in the league so he will have plenty of opportunities to make an impact.
I get it, it’s the first day of training camp and it’s such a long season. However, to see the rookie be explosive right from the start and impressing early on shows us that he is out to prove that he will make some plays for a unit that desperately needs it. As camp progresses and we get closer to the season, Sanders will be watched closely and seeing him in preseason should be a lot of fun.
