The Buffalo Bills could really use another wide receiver to help break this offense even more open. Fortunately, it's looking as though that will come to fruition.

The Bills continue to be discussed as a team that could add wide receiver help ahead of next week's deadline. That's a good sign for the fans and for Josh Allen, who won't turn down any extra help on offense.

A name that Bills fans are starting to get their hopes up for is Raiders wideout Jakobi Meyers, who has made it known that he wants out of Las Vegas. This week in his trade deadline buzz update, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reported that Meyers has a solid shot of being traded and "possibly the best chance among available wide receivers" to be shipped off elsewhere.

"Las Vegas has received interest in the seven-year veteran, and my sense is the Raiders want a strong pick for Meyers. A swap of Day 3 picks won't do at this stage.

Several teams are believed to be in the receiver market, most notably the Steelers and possibly the Broncos and Bills. Meyers clearly wants out, and the Raiders are in a transitional phase. They just signed veteran Tyler Lockett, which could ease the loss of dealing Meyers."

While Fowler did go on to mention in that piece that the Steelers are likely the frontrunners in the Meyers sweepstakes, if the Bills think this is the guy that can help them finally get to a Super Bowl, they shouldn't hesitate to go all-in on Meyers. The Steelers probably aren't a Super Bowl contender, even with Meyers, so that works in Buffalo's favor.

Bills fans hope Jakobi Meyers rumors point to Buffalo

Bills fans are all too familiar with Meyers, as the former North Carolina State product spent the first four years of his career in New England with the Patriots. He eventually followed Josh McDaniels to Las Vegas when McDaniels was hired to be the Raiders head coach but that obviously didn't work out and Meyers has been stuck in Sin City ever since.

Clearly, Meyers is unhappy in Las Vegas and the Raiders know they should move on from him and get a pick in return for him. If the Bills want to add Meyers, who had 1,027 receiving yards and four touchdowns in 15 games last year, they'll need to pay up. It won't be a cheap move but it should end up being worth it hopefully.
